    Abstract: Recognizing the necessary social aspects of scientific knowledge leads to a serious shift in the analysis of science. Whereas until recently the study of scientific knowledge in terms of its social qualities began with its logical structure, today the primary focuses of analysis are the human brain, the material carrier of computer programs, the economic relations in the society of commodity production, and so forth. All of this is not science, but is involved in the production of new knowledge. The boundary between the spiritual and the material, between the scientific and nonscientific is blurred. To study this phenomenon, the vector of research shifts: social qualities are not sought in scientific knowledge, but the external world of non-science exhibits signs of the presence of the spiritual in the form of emerging scientific knowledge

    Abstract: This paper provides an argument for a more socially relevant philosophy of science (SRPOS). Our aims in this paper are to characterize this body of work in philosophy of science, to argue for its importance, and to demonstrate that there are significant opportunities for philosophy of science to engage with and support this type of research. The impetus of this project was a keen sense of missed opportunities for philosophy of science to have a broader social impact. We illustrate various ways in which SRPOS can provide social benefits, as well as benefits to scientific practice and philosophy itself. Also, SRPOS is consistent with some historical and contemporary goals of philosophy of science. We're calling for an expansion of philosophy of science to include more of this type of work. In order to support this expansion, we characterize philosophy of science as an epistemic community and examine the culture and practices of philosophy of science that can help or hinder research in this area.

    Abstract: Seit einiger Zeit hat sich an verstreuten Orten ein Diskussionsfeld gebildet, auf dem methodologische und methodische Fragen der Verbindung von Systemtheorie und Hermeneutik verhandelt werden. Dieses Diskussionsfeld wird hier erstmals in gebündelter und systematisierter Form vorgestellt. Im Zentrum dabei steht die Frage, welche Herausforderungen die Hermeneutik und die neueren Entwicklungen des Konstruktivismus aneinander stellen und mit welchen Mitteln diese Herausforderungen bewältigt werden können. Der Begriff "konstruktivistische Hermeneutik" bezeichnet diese Problemstellung, die in den Beiträgen dieses Bandes aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven (Dekonstruktion, Diskursanalyse, hermeneutische Wissenssoziologie) abgegrenzt und durch Brückenschläge zwischen Systemtheorie und Hermeneutik (vor allem objektiver Hermeneutik und Konversationsanalyse) bearbeitet wird.
